Seville Historic Tile Roof Replacement

Owner: Jared Weingartner

Our team restored the roof of this stately 1918 Heritage Hills mansion using Ludowici’s Seville Historic Tile profile. This intricate system—with its barrel form and multiple accessory trims—required precision craftsmanship to replicate the home’s original historic roof. The new installation ensures long-term performance while preserving the property’s architectural integrity in Oklahoma City’s first preservation district.

Lanai Historic Tile Roof Restoration

Owner: Debbie Clark

Built in 1939, this Colonial Revival home required delicate restoration of its original Lanai interlocking tile roof. Goodman Construction salvaged and relaid the historic tiles, preserved patina on shaded slopes, and fabricated new copper flashings and gutters. The result is a water-tight system that safeguards the home’s heritage while meeting modern performance standards.

Multicolor Slate Roof Replacement

Owner: Stephanie Kazenske

This English Manor–style residence required a complete slate roof replacement after widespread deterioration. Goodman Construction recreated the home’s historic multicolor slate look using a custom blend of five slate types, paired with copper dormer roofs, gutters, and flashings. The new system provides long-term weatherproofing while honoring the home’s 1920s design.

Century Shake Roof Replacement

Goodman Construction replaced the deteriorated wood shake roof of this 1927 Craftsman-inspired bungalow with Ludowici Century Shake clay tile in Aged Cedar. The clay shake replicates the warm, weathered look of cedar while delivering fire resistance, lower insurance costs, and unmatched durability—ensuring the home’s character endures for decades.

Spanish S Clay Tile Roof Restoration

Built in 1905, this English Manor Revival home underwent a full restoration of its Ludowici Spanish S clay tile roof. Goodman Construction carefully lifted and reset every tile, upgraded underlayment, and fabricated new copper snow aprons. The restored system protects the home while preserving the craftsmanship of its early 20th-century design.

  • All tiles salvaged and reset in original alignment

Spanish S Clay Tile Roof Restoration

This 1917 Tudor Revival and French Chateau–inspired home required restoration of its Spanish S tile roof, which had lost its original green color movement. Goodman Construction blended salvaged historic tiles with the owner’s stock to recreate the dynamic green pattern, while installing new copper flashings and dormer roofs to historic dimensions.

Seville Clay Tile Roof Maintenance

Owner: John Randolph

The Richard A. Vose House, a 1910 Mission Revival landmark, features a distinctive Ludowici Seville red tile roof with ornamental lion’s head gargoyle hip starters. After storm damage, Goodman Construction restored broken tiles and reproduced custom gargoyles through collaboration with Ludowici artisans, ensuring the system’s historic character was preserved.

Asbestos Tile Roof Maintenance

This 1929 Colonial Revival home retains its mid-century asbestos tile roof, a system prized for its fire resistance but requiring specialized care. Goodman Construction’s proactive maintenance program addresses cracked tiles, flashings, and drainage, extending the roof’s service life while preserving its historic character.
